People Aren't Born Successful - They Simply Learn How!
A number of highly successful people whom I've met throughout life have shared their knowledge with me. Some, many millionaires, were kind enough to mentor me on the art and process of becoming successful. I learned that not all, but most, highly successful people educated themselves on or were taught how to be successful. In every case this was accomplished by striving to be around and learn from people who were already successful, and by acquiring knowledge through certain classic books and materials that were created by some of the world's most successful people. You will find few highly successful people that do not have these materials in their libraries.
One year, a friend, one of the mentors I mentioned above, told me about a man named Jim Rohn. My friend was then 62 and had became a millionaire through the methods mentioned above. Not accustomed to having or managing money or success, however, he promptly lost every dime. Jim Rohn started over and by age 35 was again a millionaire, this time with the knowledge and experience which lead him to become one of the world's most successful and respected businessmen and business philosophers/teachers.

With the exception of "How To Have Your Best Year Ever!" all of the books listed above cost just dollars. Several of the books are also referenced and recommended by Jim Rohn in his video series, and that series offers the best education most people will probably ever get on how to become successful. The information and instruction in the video is easily worth a million dollars many times over, so the $82.50 investment isn't even an issue. If you don't have a VCR or DVD, buy the course and watch it someplace where you have access to one. If you can't afford the $82.50 right now, then start with the books. If you can't afford, or find, all of the books right now then start with Think & Grow Rich. It cost about $7.99 and is the world's all time classic reference on becoming successful. If you can afford or budget for the above but decide not to, it is highly unlikely that you truly have the desire to improve your position in life at this time. As the saying goes, "if you continue to do what you're already doing, you'll continue to get what you're already getting!"
All of the materials listed above make themselves clear on this important point: Success is a relative term and doesn't necessarily even relate to money. However, we all have to earn a living, and most are not earning enough or improving enough to provide for themselves or their families other than just getting by, not to mention being able to enjoy even a reasonable measure of freedom and flexibility in their daily lives. Since even the Bible tells us we have to work for a living it only makes sense that we spend our time as wisely as possible, which in turn will result in greater success and improvement.
Jim Rohn has spoken before children in classrooms where he taught them how to become rich by age 35, age 30 if they are extra bright, and sooner if they find a "unique opportunity." He gets children started in business early by teaching them to save their money and own two bicycles: one to ride, and the other to rent out.
